RhinoMoto Gen 1 & 2 Explained

RhinoMoto mirror mounts are available in two designs based on how your mirror bracket attaches to the mount.

Gen 2 — Closed-Style Brackets

For Motogadget, Rizoma and other closed-style mirrors

Closed-style mirror brackets are nearly circular and do not open completely. Instead, the bracket must slide over the mirror mount before being tightened.

Our Gen 2 mounts use a two-piece design, allowing these closed-style brackets to slide onto the mounting surface from the rear. An optional dress ring is included for a clean, finished appearance.

Gen 2 mounts also work with open-style mirrors, including CRG and Brogue Moto mirrors.

Gen 1 — Open-Style Brackets

For CRG, Brogue Moto and other open-style mirrors

Our original Gen 1 mounts were designed around CRG mirrors. These mirror brackets either separate completely or hinge open far enough to install directly around the mirror mount.

Gen 1 mounts use a one-piece solid steel body and are designed specifically for this style of mirror bracket.

Which Do I Need?

Gen 1: Your mirror bracket opens completely and clamps around the mount.

Gen 2: Your mirror bracket does not open completely and must slide onto the mount.

Brogue Moto mirrors are compatible with both Gen 1 and Gen 2 RhinoMoto mounts.
